I feel loved:)

This morning as I was taking a shower, I kept hearing Julien yelling, "Mommy, don't look, I'm setting up your party!" So once I got out, he was SO excited to show me "my party." I'm not sure why he decided to throw me a party, but I loved it. He had "decorated" the whole house with random things (in random places), hence, the flip flops hanging from door knobs, play food cheese and baloney sticking out of my dresser, ect. He said they were the birthday decorations. He kept saying, "All your girls are here and Daddy is here too! You are going to have a slumber party!" So he took me all over the house and made me say hi to "my friends" and "husband." I think it is so cute how he used his imagination and how excited he was to surprise me. He kept saying, "Do you like it, Mommy?" I loved it! He even put a bunch of his toys in a gift bag and that was my present! Then tonight after I tucked him in bed, he said, (whispering),"Mommy, be really quiet when you go out in the living room, because all your girls are sleeping in there." I love my kids, they are so precious!

He wouldn't smile for me because he was laughing with excitement, so this is what I got of him...

Happy Father's Day!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my two main men (my dad and my husband) since I can't be with either one of them today. I love them both so much! So Happy Father's Day Dad and Richie! This is my dad! For those who don't know him, he is an awesome, awesome guy! He has ALWAYS been there for me. After my parents divorced when I was 7 years old, my dad took on the role as "Mr. Mom." He raised my older sister and I the best that he could. I'm sure that was hard for a man to raise two girls by himself, but he always tried his hardest. He's always been someone I can talk to about anything and he has always supported me in my decisions (even if at first he didn't agree with them). He is still a great dad, even though my sister and I are both married. We talk or text each other just about everyday and I just love him to pieces. Another sweet thing about my dad is that he is such a wonderful grandpa! From the moment I was pregnant with Julien he has been excited about being a grandfather. He adores my kids and they adore him! His nick name is "Papa Pakki!" We are hoping that one day we will be able to live near him again. He is the best! We all love you so very much, Dad! Thank you for everything!!!
Now to the cherished father of my children...
Rich is such a good dad. I'm so thankful to have a husband that loves his kids so much. He has always been a very caring and involved father. Our kids LOVE and ADORE him sooo much! When daddy comes home he gets a loud welcome with lots of hugs and kisses! Being with Rich is my kid's favorite place to be! He is so helpful with everything when it comes to raising our boys. He works so hard and isn't home as much as we'd wish, but he still makes so much effort to make us feel loved and be there for us in every way. He truly cares about the well being of our kids and shows so much enthusiasm for who they are.
I just asked our oldest son, Julien, what his favorite things to do with his daddy were; here is his list:

*Play with him

*go to the gas station with him

*go to the grocery store with him

*play baseball with him

*watch Rocky with him

*swim with him

I'm sure he has a longer list, but that one is sure cute! If Jonah could talk in sentences, he would have a long list too. Our kids pretty much worship their daddy! He is a great daddy and we can't wait until he gets home from Florida and we can spend lots of quality time with him! We miss him so much! Thank you for your hard work, Babe! And thank you for being such a loving father! We love you!

Happy Father's Day!!

Back in Utah

I love the Internet and I've survived a week and a half without it! The kids and I moved back to Utah while Rich finishes his summer job in Florida. I've had a busy week unpacking everything all by my self. But the house is almost completely decorated and organized. I have great compassion for single moms (even more than I did before). Even though I'm not really a single mom and I still get to stay home and not have to go to a job, I feel a little like one with my husband being gone for the next 3 months. I'll survive! I actually feel pretty good about everything I have been able to accomplish this week all on my own in the home. My awesome male neighbors moved all my stuff in and set up the beds for me and that was soooo sweet of them! I really have the best neighbors and I'm happy we moved to a street where we already know almost everyone. My sister in law, Kari, has also been my little life saver! My car is still broken and waiting to be fixed, so Kari has helped me out there. She has also made this week so much fun..we've been hanging out a lot. The best time so far was when we put our kids to bed at 7pm and hired a babysitter to stay with them while we went to Costco and Walmart to buy groceries WITHOUT kids. We love our kids, but don't love to shop with them! It may not seem like fun, but it really was. She makes me laugh and I think it was the best time I've ever had at Walmart! Had to be there. Thanks Kari!! So anyway, we are missing Rich, but learning to temporarily get along without him here. I know it will be a bit challenging at times, but I know it won't kill me! That's all for now. Sorry, no pictures. But just picture two cute boys sitting on an airplane; Julien with a big smile and Jonah with a look of amazement! They really were great on the plane! Thank goodness! All that anxiety for nothing! More later:)!
