Catch up post

It's been a while.  Time to catch up!  I need to stop using the excuses that my camera and computer stink, and "I'll blog more when I have better ones;" and just start blogging more consistently again.  Yes, I want a better camera!  Yes, I am literally saving our spare change in a jug for one (I probably have about 1/3 saved up).                                                                               ----------------------------------->
No, my kids are not getting any younger, so therefore I must keep taking pictures, regardless if I have the camera of my dreams and regardless if it takes an hour to manually upload my pictures; and documenting through blogging!  No more excuses.  I have a family. We're all alive.  I have a camera and a computer, and that's enough.  (But I will still be saving up for a nice camera, hehe).
So jumping right in.  Pictures from the park, sometime in July....
Cooper after he bit the dust.

Julien and Jonah are really into baseball now.  Julien's strength is batting and Jonah's strength is throwing.  Jonah loves to be the catcher, just like his daddy used to be when he was young.  He has the most adorable wind up!!  It's something I need to get on video!

Next, we have these adorable pictures of Cooper rocking out.  Julien had gotten some money from grandparents for his birthday and decided to get his own mp3 player.  On it, he has his beloved Rocky soundtrack, Tangled soundtrack (which is hilarious to hear him belt out the girly parts with absolutely no shame), Primary songs (children's church songs), and a few randoms that Rich put on for him.  Cooper, wanting anything his big brothers have, somehow ended up getting Julien to let him borrow it.  I love these pictures of his chubby cheeks and big head phones.

What a little cutie!!

And now skipping ahead to last week, Aug 22, we started a new school year.  We took the boys out to dinner to celebrate.

Jonah caught the coloring bug!  He can't stop.  The kid LOVES to color.  Julien has always loved it and Jonah liked it, but now, it's one of his favorite things to do and he has really gotten good at it.  He's only 5 and it really impresses me, but then again I am his mama.
He kind of has the same expression as the T-Rex!

It's fun to see my kids making progress in things.

Bath time pictures are always fun (at least for the parents).  This night, Jonah came in and Cooper had fun soaking him.

Too bad I messed this cute shot up, but he looks like he just got the idea to soak brother!

Jonah really did enjoy it though!

Homeschooling is going well.  It 's hard at times but most of the time it's rewarding, fun, and  pleasant.

Just trying to be like brothers!!  We try to do the bulk of our schooling while Cooper naps though.

And to wrap up these pictures, here are some of the boys just being boys...............

Not a good picture, but this is what they love to do, wrestle.

And Jonah, the one who rarely lets me take his picture was actually posing for the camera today; trying ever so hard to not smile.....

I finally got him to smile when I belted out a really loud dorky/goofy laugh!
Back to being serious!

I have to add that Julien and Jonah love to play cowboys.  They have names (shown above) "Fransisco" and "George," and they talk in deep scratchy voices while they play.  Pretty funny.  I think my favorite part is the fact that they wear snow boots, being the only boots that have!

Okay, so there you have it.   Those are the recent pictures I had on my camera.  It feels good to catch up!  Hopefully I'll be back soon!
