Quick Update!

Just wanted to let you all know that we are alive. We have had major phone problems and had to switch phone companies. I only have a land line now and it was supposed to be installed yesterday but they did something wrong so it will be ANOTHER week! grrr. We don't have internet either (another crazy problem with where we are living). Right now I am at my dad's house so at least I can use it here! Can't wait to catch up on all of your blogs. Can't today because it's a busy day. Anyway, I also wanted to mention how much we love Texas! The best way I can describe the area we live in, is it looks a lot like Westlake or Thousand Oaks (so very pretty and feels like home)! Our apartment is twice as big (maybe bigger) than our last one, so we are really enjoying that! I found two scorpions (one on my porch and one in the kid's room)...wasn't very happy about that...ugh. But from what I've heard the kind I found are harmless. They were also babies...but I am still looking for them all of the time. But I do like it here a lot! My dad is about 10-15 minutes away (with traffic), not too bad and it is so great to be near him again! Sorry if you have tried to call or text and haven't heard from us. I promise I will call when I get my phone! Hope everyone is well! And if this means anything (pathetic, I know), Happy birthday to our cute little nephew Chandler and our cute little niece, Brecken!! Sorry we are slacker aunt/uncle!! We will call you soon! Love you!

Happy Easter

Conference was so amazing last weekend. One of the most powerful talks was by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. He is always one of my favorite speakers (even though I love them all). Here is part of his talk along with a new Easter video.

Yee Haw!

Richie got some free tickets to a Rodeo, here in Pocatello. So he took us out tonight! Aunt Cindy hooked us up with the hats! The boys didn't know what to expect, but they had a blast...and the candy we brought definitely helped! It was soooo nice to get.out.of.the.house!!! None of us had ever been to a Rodeo before, so it was fun! I had such a good time and want to go again. It is beyond me why those bull riders would want to brake their back like that, but pretty amazing!

As you can see we dressed for the occasion (well, tried, at least), too bad the hats were to small for mine and Rich's heads!
Jonah just melted me in his hat. This is actually his hat, and every time he wears it, I want to die. He just looks the part. I think he is going to fit in great in Texas!

This was so cute, but really sad! These little boys were riding sheep! No one got hurt, although it looks like it. It was kind of hard to watch, because it's dangerous, but they are stinkin' cute!
Here are a bunch of the kids that competed!

See the guy flying off the bull!
Julien doesn't look too excited, but he had a great time and was such a good boy!
Can we say, SUGAR HIGH!
Now we feel a little more prepared to move to Texas;)!
