Part 2 of Julien's Big Day

By the time I picked Julien up today, he was pooped! When he first saw me he gave me a look like, "I know you?" Then he said, "Oh, hi Mommy!" I could tell he was so tired! It took me a while to get most things out of him. His mind must have been on overload. Here are a few things he did remember about the day:

*They played at the park (the playground).
*One kid was being naughty, not listening to the teacher and was rolling around on the rug crying.
*The cafeteria served mac 'n cheese, chicken nuggets, oranges, and chocolate milk. (They aren't allowed to bring lunches to his school).
*They exercised in the gym. He later told Dad on the phone that they "worked out."
*Two girls fell down in class and were bleeding.
*His teacher has a hamster named "Nipples." I'm assuming it's Nibbles.
*After his teacher told them the playground rules, he raised his hand and asked her if she had seen the movie, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Hopefully he heard the safety rules.

He was excited to come home and he is excited that he gets to go back tomorrow. Jonah couldn't get enough of him, once he was back. While Julien was gone today, Jonah kept wanting to see pictures of Julien; wanted to see his name on the computer; and when he saw the number 5, he would get excited that that was how old Julien was. It was a strange quiet atmosphere at home today. Jonah and I have some adjusting to do. But to my surprise 7 hours went by fast. I'm proud of my big boy!
