Holiday treat splurging got the best of us and sickness stuck around forever after Christmas.
It wasn't just Cooper, but for some reason I only have pictures of him. We even got some eye issues and some funky skin rash (not pictured). Blah, being sick is the worst!
We've lived here for a year now and this green wall has been screaming "paint me" every single day, multiple times a day. We are just renting, but our landlords gave us the okay to paint it. After all, I just wanted to paint it the same color as the rest of the house. It was a little accent wall, so it was a quick job. Thank you to my hub and a little help from Cooper. It made such a difference to the dinning room and I'm no longer annoyed when I look that way. Bratty? I probably am, but I know what I like, and that shade of green on that wall was less than pleasing to my eye. I don't have an after picture, but you'll see it in future posts (it's just our dinning room).
Just a little snapshot of an ordinary day with Cooper, while the boys were at school. Target is one of my happy places. If there is a need to go, I'm more than happy! We are there a lot. I mean, a lot, a lot. Like I might need an intervention. The good news is, I don't go there and blow money. Sometimes I just need to browse and smile as I adore everything, and then I'm satisfied and on my way. Love Target! The end.
Cooper started Primary! I am still giggling over this little fact. How on earth did he get that old?!
Proof, I have other kids! I just have such few pictures of Julien and Jonah these days because it seems like they are never home! They are either at school or out playing with neighbors.
Jonah became infatuated with Star Wars all because of a Wii game that they got from their great grandma for Christmas. This picture is him opening a bag of Star Wars figures that I scored at the DI. for $2.00!!! Another place I like to browse every so often for tresures (the DI-it's a thrift store). That day, I just about died when I found this bag filled with Star Wars guy that normally cost $6-10 a piece. I made him complete his homework packet for the week and this was his reward.
Julien earned some more belt loops for Scouts. He still loves it. I'm still trying to like it. Just kidding, sort of. No, I'm glad he likes it and is learning some things, but Rich and I both feel that the program is a wee cheesy at times. Maybe we're just immature.:) If Julien loves, I'm happy!
Just keeping it real....
Yep, this happened. Rocks in house. Probably not the first time. Never trust a quiet toddler.
Speaking of keeping it real. Fits, they don't happen to this extent too often, but they certainly do happen. This was after being stuck at the DMV for too long and being so patient. He finally broke down once we got home.
And the warmer weather started to come around again! Yay!!
