Lately, Cooper has been lining things up in rows...DVDs, blocks, cars, shoes, blankets, etc.
I adore these simple things in life. Children are so precious.
Cooper has reached the age where he wants to do most things by himself. He's very determined. Here he is trying to put on his own shirt.
Hehehe. I love those pictures! He looks exhausted at the end. After he struggled though that, he finally let me help him. That determination has paid off, because he has since learned to put on his own shirt (these pictures are from a while back).
A few weeks ago, Jonah (6 yrs old) asked me if I had a box. I gave him this one (below), being the only one I had. It was not exactly as big as he had imagined, but he made do.
He attached a little story to the box, "so he could read while he sat in his fort."
I love being surrounded by sweet little minds. I love my kiddos!!

When Jonah writes, he often takes moments from his real life and compiles them into a story. So that is exactly how he came up with this one (with a little exaggeration). It melts me.  |
