Christmas Eve traditions

Every Christmas Eve we give two gifts to the kids to open.  1.) a new pair of p.j.s, and 2.) a new ornament.  This year Rich wanted the boys to have some plain white shirts to wear as jammies or undershirts, so we went with those.  They weren't too thrilled about them at first, but once they put them on, they got a little more excited.  Cooper got a set of two p.j.s which turned out great because he soaked the pair below in pee that night and the next morning he wore his other new pair, which you'll see in the next post.

above: Julien and Jonah trying to look excited about a package of white shirts for their new p.j. tops.  But Cooper was truly excited about his new jammies!

Love these cute boys....

 Ornament time....

After putting Cooper to bed, I made these cuties pose with their matching jammies....
It sure is interesting to see how lively, healthy, and happy Jonah was in these pictures.  Little did we know that in just hours he would be horribly sick and hospitalized.  I love their sweet smiles.

The kid's ornaments this year......
Sweet Julien left Santa a sign that he had made....
And then Santa came and he almost got caught big time this year. Julien was up most of the night.
It's always so exciting to go to bed after everything is put out.  Rich and I have a hard time sleeping.  The anticipation of seeing our kid's faces makes us giddy.  But what a sad thing it was when we woke up to a very sick Jonah on Christmas morning.:(  That post to come.
